Call for collaborators in FLORA, International Flower Festival 2019


The third edition of FLORA, the International Flower Festival, will be held from 18 to 27 October 2019. This year, 5 highly experienced floral artists of international prestige will exhibit 5 contemporary floral installations in 5 patios in the city of Cordoba.

For FLORA 2019, we are looking for individuals who are interested in collaborating and participating in diverse aspects of the event organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to get a close-up look at how a large-scale cultural event is coordinated and carried out.

Collaborators will work under the supervision of a manager and will be in direct contact with the Festival organisers.

POSITIONS

Collaboration in floral installations

Providing support in the assembly of the installations during the set-up, exhibition and dismantling phases of each of the FLORA floral installations, from 14 to 29 October 2019.

Requirements:

  • Individuals must be over the age of 18 or accompanied by a guardian.
  • Training and experience in artistry and/or handicrafts.
  • Available for at least 3 hours on each day of collaboration.
  • All collaborators must have an agreement in place with an educational institution that is a Festival partner.

Collaboration in Festival organisation

Providing support in the technical coordination of the Festival and related activities: controlling access to activities, providing support in preparing spaces or assisting the public, to name a few.

Requirements:

  • Individuals must be over the age of 18 or accompanied by a guardian.
  • Training and experience in protocol, event management and/or cultural management.
  • Available for at least 3 hours on each day of collaboration.
  • All collaborators must be subject to one of the agreements that the Festival has in place with numerous training entities.

COMPENSATION

  • INSURANCE: Third-party liability insurance coverage during collaboration hours.
  • CERTIFICATE OF COLLABORATION in the FLORA Festival.
  • OFFICIAL T-SHIRT: An official t-shirt will be provided upon confirmation as a collaborator.

COLLABORATORS’ OBLIGATIONS

  • The specific collaboration dates will be defined once the registration process is complete, with flexibility to work around each person’s personal and professional commitments.
  • The work done by the collaborators shall be supervised by the Festival’s production managers and organisers.
  • The chosen individuals shall follow the orders given by the Festival Coordinator.
  • This work shall be unpaid, and there is no contract relationship between the Festival organisers and the interested party.
