Gonzalo J. Herreros Moya

Gonzalo J. Herreros Moya holds a degree in History and a PhD in Heritage from the University of Córdoba. He has published around thirty works, including books, book chapters and articles, on nobility, heraldry, heritage, social history and religion. He has belonged to several research groups receiving ministerial funding and has given papers and lectures at numerous conferences, lecture series, seminars and workshops. For six years he taught Geography and History in secondary education for the Regional Government of Andalusia, and since 2025 he has been Director of Córdoba City Council’s Municipal Museums. He is also a corresponding member of the Real Academia de Córdoba and the Real Academia Matritense de Heráldica y Genealogía.
