La Normal | AGRO
FLORA presents AGRO, a performance created ex profeso for the festival, a production by La Normal directed by Antonio Ruz in which seven dancers transform a space as unique as Córdoba’s Royal Stables into a stage for dance.
AGRO is not only an invocation of the future (theme of the VIII edition of FLORA) through the most atavistic and primitive element, the earth, but also a unique opportunity to discover the scenic potential of such a special place as the Covered Riding School of Córdoba’s Royal Stables, built at the end of the 19th century (the Stables themselves were founded in 1570 by royal decree of Philip II).
Built by Gustave Eiffel’s workshop and used over the years as a key venue for training horses, riders, and equestrian shows, the Covered Riding School is transformed in AGRO into a sandy stage where seven dancers invoke the future by reconnecting with the organic, returning to essence, rhythm, and the most primitive. With live electronic music by Aire and styling by Sebas Hotmail, the piece combines choreography, improvisation and live movement creation. A ritual of the body around the earth, farming, and the future.
