Natasha Lisitsa

USA, 1961

Originally trained as an engineer, Lisitsa – a lover of architecture and gastronomy – founded Waterlily Pond studio in San Francisco in 2001, with her husband Daniel Schultz. Since then they have carried out over 2000 floral events. Her first immersion in this art was Ikebana floral design, from which she developed what is today her personal brand, a fusion between Eastern and Western design, which has been labelled ‘exuberant Ikebana’. Waterlily Pond’s floral installations amaze with their audacity, size, technical perfection and innovative use of materials. They have received awards such as gold medal (Windows of the World category) at the Singapore Garden Festival 2016 and 1 st Prize at FLORA 2017.
