Paula Anta | arbor
An unexpected forest of trees horizontally invades the museum’s courtyard. Nature reclaims its place in a strange exercise of balance that speaks to us of a possible future. The trees occupy the space, and from them sprout various flowers and medicinal plants, evoking healing, restoration, and the resilience of nature.
In arbor, the artist proposes a kind of natural archaeology, transforming the fallen tree into a metaphor for what we have lost but also for what we can still recover, on a path toward healing.
