Versonautas
Versonautas is a company of stage creation characterised by its own language on the margins of artistic disciplines such as oral and scenic poetry, music, performance and theatre. Based in Valencia, it is composed by Ana Sanahuja and Roqui Albero, two musicians and creators trained at the ESMUC in Barcelona, who have drawn from the cultural scenes of cities such as Havana, New York and Buenos Aires.
Throughout its career, Versonautas has created five stage projects and two albums, working in more than 200 venues and collaborating with artists such as Pablo Rosal, Jorge Drexler, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Pablo Martin Jones, David Espinosa and Carles Campi.
Versonautas, whose name was given by singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler, has performed at TEM, Festival Sagunt a Escena, Casa de la Poesía de La Habana, Festival Barcelona Poesia, IVAM, Conciertos de Radio 3, Festival Eufònic, Caixa Forum BCN, CCCC or Teatro Jovellanos, among others, and has received the Award for Best Musical Composition in the Valencian Performing Arts Awards 2023, as well as being candidates for Best Musical or Lyrical Show in the XXVII Max Awards for the Performing Arts 2023-2024.
