Ussuru Sound

Ussuru Sound is a duo of selectoresses based in Cordoba with a decade of experience in cultural and educational events.

Their musical selection, which they call “World Wild Music”, is “the story of a journey through the different musical cultures of the world: we can move our bodies to the rhythms of cumbia, salsa, soul, hiphop, samba, funky, moombathon, reggae, afro electro… ranging from original organic sounds to folkloric mixes with an electronic base”.

They believe in the power of music as a tool for social transformation. For this reason, they have co-created and collaborated in two educational projects in Cordoba: A Ritmo Violeta and SoundAlvaro. Etnosur (Jaén), Fiestas de Sants (Barcelona), Eutopía (Córdoba), Radigyal (Mallorca) and Dubmingo (Madrid) are some of the events in which they have participated, and they have shared the bill with national and international artists such as Chico Trujillo, Combo Chabela, Txangueiras, Skap and Maria Arnal.
