Patricia Domínguez
She is a visual artist and botanical and natural science illustrator. She studied a Master’s degree in Studio Art at Hunter College, New York and a Certificate in Botanical and Natural Science illustration at the New York Botanical Garden. He has produced scientific illustrations for the Paleontology Department of the American Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of Natural History of Chile and Hudson Seed Library, among others. He recently created Studio Vegetalista, a space dedicated to illustrating the cosmos and which functions as an independent school of botanical, bird and mammal illustration.
His artistic projects have been exhibited at Matadero Madrid, Pizzuti Museum, El Museo del Barrio, FLORA, ARCO Madrid, The Watermill Center, Galería Gabriela Mistral and Galería Patricia Ready, among others. He was awarded the Media Art Prize of Fundación Telefónica Venezuela ’14, 3rd Norberto Griffa Prize ’14 and the 2nd CCU Scholarship ’15.
