Magdalena Merlos

Magdalena Merlos holds a PhD in Geography and History and received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. She is Director of the Archive and the Historical Heritage Department of the City Council of Aranjuez and served as scientific representative during the inscription of the Cultural Landscape of Aranjuez on the World Heritage List. A full member of the Instituto de Estudios Madrileños (CECEL-CSIC), she also teaches at several universities. As a researcher, she has published extensively and has participated in numerous projects and teams focused on historical heritage and cultural landscapes.
