Juan
Juan López López (La Rambla, Córdoba, 1980) is an artist, music producer, and cultural manager with two decades of experience. In recent years, he has focused on audiovisual projects (essay, experimental fiction, and creative documentary) and sound projects (electronic music, soundtracks, sound design, and dance).
His videographic work seeks to elevate reality from the everyday through carefully composed, mostly static images. He has been an artist-in-residence at the Centre for Contemporary Creation of Andalusia (C3A) and has received creation grants such as Iniciarte (Junta de Andalucía) and Beca Artes Nobles (City of Córdoba).
As a music producer, he creates atmospheres and emotional soundscapes moving between ambient, IDM, and unconventional electronic music. He has released works on labels such as Dustpan Recordings, Several Roots, 12 min albums, Oigovisiones Label, and Sound of Ogigia.
As a curator and cultural manager, he is known for his regular work in towns across the province directing projects such as Aptitudes (La Rambla), El Vuelo de Hypnos (Almedinilla), and DEM (Montalbán de Córdoba), multidisciplinary initiatives that combine specific creative processes with avant-garde cultural activities in public spaces.
