Carly Rogers
Her training as a florist began when she was a teenager, which has given her a technical base that allows her to go beyond: you will always find an artistic and experiential intention in the work of this Londoner from the district of Camberwell. Trained at the Royal College of Art, her interests don’t stop at floral art, reaching out to contemporary art and fashion. Rogers’ style has something anarchic, apparently disorderly and free that connects her directly with the classic English garden, and with the public.
In her installations, plants and flowers seem to have sprung up spontaneously, but don’t be fooled: Carly’s hand is behind every detail.
