Alejandro Banegas
Alejandro Banegas (Ciudad Real, 1983) establishes a relationship with the plant world inspired by nature and art that materialises in a way that is close to design. Trained in Fine Arts and Interior Design, he has developed professionally in some creative confluences of both fields, such as window dressing, styling or set design for brands like Inditex and magazines like AD, Manera or Vogue, as well as with different renowned photographers.
As a floral designer, he has worked for leading national florists and brands such as Loewe and Brumalis. Under the “floral creativity” of his own label, he covers everything from commercial formats (often linked to interior design) to less travelled and artistic approaches. His work is based on the interaction with space and on a translation of plastic values to natural elements.
Banegas has collaborated with Eugenio Ampudia in the floral installation A plant-like thought.
