Rafael Doctor SPA
A cultural manager, curator and art historian, Doctor is one of the most highly respected voices on contemporary art in Spain. He is currently the director of the Centro Andaluz de Fotografía (Andalusian Centre for Photography, or CAF) but has also managed emblematic projects such as Espacio Uno in the MNCARS (Reina Sofía Museum) and the MUSAC – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León (Contemporary Art Museum of Castilla y León). He combines his profession with collecting photography and activism in defence of animals’ rights.
Christopher Woodward GBR
He manages The Garden Museum in London, the only British museum devoted to the art, history and design of gardens, which also promotes and disseminates the best floral art, exhibiting the creations of the youngest artists at British Flower Week and in its scheduled exhibitions. Flowers are not the only passion for this Londoner, who also enjoys architecture (particularly Spanish Renaissance), swimming and writing (he is currently working on a history of nostalgia).
Natasha Lisitsa UKR
Originally trained as an engineer, Lisitsa – a lover of architecture and gastronomy – founded Waterlily Pond studio in San Francisco in 2001, with her husband Daniel Schultz. Since then they have carried out over 2000 floral events. Her first immersion in this art was Ikebana floral design, from which she developed what is today her personal brand, a fusion between Eastern and Western design, which has been labelled ‘exuberant Ikebana’. Waterlily Pond’s floral installations amaze with their audacity, size, technical perfection and innovative use of materials. They have received awards such as gold medal (Windows of the World category) at the Singapore Garden Festival 2016 and 1 st Prize at FLORA 2017.
