Years before sustainability was a mainstream concept, Shane Connolly was a strong advocate, sending out distress signals and also making this one of the focuses of his own floral work. Connolly will outline his perspective on the issue and the solutions that he personally has used in both small arrangements and in his most spectacular creations.

The Belgian floral artist is world renowned not only for his spectacular installations but also for his tireless teaching activity revolving around floral culture. In this FLORA Encounter he’ll discuss “The transformational power of floral art”.
